Tobay Beach In-Water Boat Show

Tobay Beach, NY- There is no better way to enjoy the boating season than at the Tobay Beach-In Water Boat and Brokerage Show, being held at Tobay Beach Marina just 4 miles East of Jones Beach on Ocean Parkway. This year’s show will be open, beginning Friday, September 26th and continuing through Sunday, September 28th. The show hours are 12 noon – 6:00 p.m. Friday followed by 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, and Sunday.

The Tobay Show is the only place for super savings with exclusive boat show discounts, special dealer incentives and on the spot financing. With hundreds of new and used boats in the water and on land, there’s something for every taste and budget. This year’s show will once again include an accessories tent that covers 12,000 sq. feet, featuring the latest marine electronics, inboard and outboard engines, repowers, fabricators, inflatable boats and so much more. Once you’ve seen everything on land, continue down to the water for more boats, food, drinks and live music.

Long Island Traditions will present “Working the Waters: Maritime Culture of Long Island” in collaboration with the NY Marine Trades Association on Saturday and Sunday. Highlights of the event include decorative decoy carvers Ken Budny, George Rigby, fishermen Chuck Tekula, John Remsen, John Buczak and Flo Sharkey, and model boat builder Chris Hale. Marine trade workers, boat builders and retired or former clammers will be part of the activities, along with children’s fishing lessons taught by a master recreational fisherman.

The Tobay show is especially fun for kids of all ages. It is highlighted by the Kids Zone, where kids can enjoy face painting, daily magic shows, a Pirate Treasure Hunt and two special performances on Sunday ONLY by “Nature” Nick Jacinto of Animal Adventures featuring 12 exotic animals from around the world. The first 100 children in attendance on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free life jacket compliments of the New York Marine Trades Association. Kids are encouraged to stop by one of our many marine educational boating safety booths in the tent for free coloring books, stickers, and other fun things.

Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children 12 and under are FREE. You can come by water, drop anchor and take our free water taxi provided by Sea Tow or come by land and take advantage of our FREE parking. For more show information, please call 631.691.7050 or visit
